Okay everyone...sorry for the lack of posting. I hope you had a wonderful holiday. =)
I got Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover and I started reading it today. I just got to a point where he said he convinced millions of people to change their lives - to have a total money makeover. Then he asked, "Are you Next?"

you're gonna love it. It is such a simple plan, but it will challenge you and some of the things that have been etched in our brains for years.
Yes, it is a good, simple plan and I think you will do really well. Tell us how you are doing and what step you are on!

Some good basic ideas, but he gets on my nerves. Sheesh, pay the highest rate debts first, you'll save more on interest charges.
Anything that keeps you motivated, though, is a good thing! Good luck!
