Grocery Shopping...

I am going to the grocery store this evening. I spent $10 on lunch today and I keep thinking that $10-$15 in simple groceries would last me few days. So...going to Aldi this evening. =)

Aldi's is great! There business model is amazing too. They are a debt free company.

@ YBP -- I was sceptical at first too and drove by the store for years. Finally, a friend started working for the company so I went in to support. Well, I have been truly amazed at the deals and the quality of the food. There is nothing to be afraid of at all. I was even a salad dressing snob before but I tried a few of theirs and they're just fine for me for half the price.

I would suggest that you just take a stroll through the store with no pressure to buy anything and just look at the products and prices. Think about what you would pay for the same items in another store. You will be amazed. =)

I go to Aldi every other month for staples that don't go on sale or don't have coupons. Watch for sales and use coupons at larger grocers, it can really transform your grocery/household budget. Also, cooking helps to reduce costs, but the downside is the time it takes.
