Chase hiked their ATM fee for non-customers up to $3 effective January 13th. For those of you in the Chicagoland area, you know that’s significant because there seems like a Chase on every corner.

I have a Chase account just for the reason that there are Chase ATMs every where! I do find $3 ridiculous!
I think I am going to get one.
It's a terrific scheme, especially in Chicago. They have the most ATMs here than anyone. If you're not a customer, they force the idea of you becoming one by making it expensive for you not to be.
For the record, I'm a Chase customer. I've been with Chase since I was a child...when it was First Chicago Bank. :)

It helps that I am a customer. They are so easily accessible.
You guys should get this Umbrellabank ATM card. It will reimburse any foreign ATM fees. It has saved me a bundle.
