Sick Again…

I am sick again. This is the 3rd time in less than 2 months and I am a little irritated. I just got over a cold where I lost my voice about a week ago and here I am again, congested and irritable. While I love Chicago, the weather has been so loopy lately that everyone has the sniffles. While I am not surprised that I got sick, the weather isn’t the only reason why my system is down. The main culprit is STRESS!

You got it…STRESS. I am still waiting to hear about the job in the Legal Department, I am getting all kinds of notices that my student loans are entering repayment, the market is in turmoil which means I have to report yet another decline in my net worth, my managers want me to give up my flex schedule now that school is over and I dread coming to work every day doing my current job.

I just need a break. One break and I can begin to see something positive coming out of all of my hard work for the past 4 years. One good thing that is coming out of this mess with the market is that the interest rate on my student loans went down a little which means less interest will capitalize on my loans over the next few months.

I was really sick in November and December...I've been concentrating on eating a lot more fresh fruit and vegetables...

Sweet! I read your post about your interest rate on your school loans going down and so I checked mine and they went down .75%. Thanks for making my day!!

Oh man. I'm really sorry you haven't been feeling well. I always think that when it rains, it pours, but that it works the other way around too. I'm sure that soon, lots of good things will be heading your way ;)

P.S. Hope you feel better!!! I have had winters where I would get sick, get better for a day or so and then be sick again. Lost my voice a few times during that time as well. Stress doesn't help the healing process either.

I hope you are soon feeling better. Everyone in my office has had the cold, so far not me. I have been taking my Airborne and my vitamins. I really hope I don't get it, I haven't had a cold in over 2 years!

Can you take a day and maybe turn off the phone... rent a movie... plug in a vaporizer... and just relax? You know... unplug from the world for a few hours! It would probably help your cold and stress level...
Anyway, I hope you feel calmer and more positive soon!

I have a three day weekend and I am going to just relax, relax, relax.

I love my new vaporizer. I broke down and purchased one on sale at Target on Sunday. It is helping a lot.
