WCB,

I know you think you do - but you still spend too much money for me to believe you really want it that badly. Maybe what you should ask yourself "I want to be debt free so badly that I am willing to do [x]"

That said, you did get a second job, but it only enables you to spend too much money. I hope you get greater traction. I want you to prove me wrong, but I am skeptical.

I agree with Kris!

I want to be debt free too! My co-worker told me he finish paying his debt off last payday. Now he said it is like getting a raise of $1000 to $1500 per month.

Let's do whatever it takes to join him in living a debt free life.

Who does not want to Debt Free? I have established a deadline for me to be COMPLETELY debt free. Car, credit cards and what ever little minor debt - June 2014. And I will do WHATEVER it takes.

I too agree with Kris. Have you thought about having a serious no-spend month? It requires planning, and it requires discipline. You still allot a lot of discretionary expenses, which your PT job currently pays. If you lumped the grocery and dining expenses into one, and said $300 for the month for food, and eliminated the remaining discretionary expenses from your budget, I think you'd make excellent progress. But planning and discipline are both required, big time.
